Map showing The Cloud

Address:

Queens Wharf, Auckland CBD

At almost 180m long, The Cloud is able to accommodate up to 6,000 people. Its ground floor area can be split into four segments, which means the building is able to cater for a range of showcase and festival events occurring at the same time. It also provides the ability for the fan zone to be scaled up or down according to demand.

The mezzanine space at the harbour end of The Cloud has been targeted for use as an international media lounge during RWC 2011. This area is also ideal for VIP hosting and will be utilised the week before Tournament kick off during the Pacific Island Leaders Forum.

The Cloud will also accommodate a Tourism New Zealand i-Site during RWC 2011, where trained staff will promote the REAL New Zealand festival and regional and national tourist attractions.
